Appointments & Clinic Procedures

How can I request an appointment?

You can call us directly by phone or apply in person at our clinic. Our team will contact you as soon as possible to arrange the most suitable appointment time for you.

I have severe tooth pain. Can I come in urgently right away?

We're sorry to hear that. We reserve a limited number of slots every day for emergencies. If you call us before heading over, we can make the necessary preparations to keep your waiting time to a minimum.

My teeth don't hurt at all. Do I still need to see a dentist?

Absolutely. Our goal is to catch cavities and gum problems at an early stage - before any pain develops - and prevent them from progressing. Regular checkups every six months help you keep your teeth healthy for many years to come.

I'm very afraid of the dentist. Can I be treated while sedated?

We know many of our patients share this fear. We start by listening to you and trying to understand the reasons behind it. In cases of very high anxiety, for suitable patients and when the necessary conditions are met, treatment can be carried out under sedation with an anesthesiologist present.

How long does the first examination take?

The first examination, including any necessary X-rays and a detailed intraoral assessment by our dentist, takes about 15-20 minutes on average.

Daily Oral & Dental Care

How many times a day should I brush my teeth?

It's recommended to brush your teeth at least twice a day. Brushing before bed at night is especially important, because saliva production decreases overnight, allowing bacteria in the mouth to multiply more easily.

Which toothbrush should I use?

Generally, soft or medium-bristle toothbrushes should be preferred. The idea that hard-bristle brushes clean better isn't correct. Hard brushes can damage your gums, cause gum recession, and wear down tooth surfaces.

How often should I change my toothbrush?

You should replace your toothbrush once its bristles start splaying outward, or on average every three to four months. It can also be helpful to change your toothbrush after recovering from an infectious illness.

How much toothpaste should I put on my brush?

You don't need to cover the whole length of the brush with toothpaste. For adults, an amount about the size of a pea is generally enough.

Is flossing really necessary?

Yes, flossing is quite important. A toothbrush cannot fully reach the surfaces where teeth touch each other. Flossing once a day helps prevent hidden cavities starting between teeth and gum problems.

Which is better, an electric toothbrush or a regular one?

Electric toothbrushes are especially helpful for people who find it difficult to perform the correct brushing motions - the device itself carries out much of the brushing action. That said, a regular toothbrush can also clean effectively when used with the correct technique.

Should I use mouthwash?

If you brush and floss regularly, using mouthwash all the time isn't essential. In special cases such as gum inflammation or an oral infection, your dentist may recommend a suitable therapeutic mouthwash for you.

Should I brush my tongue too when brushing my teeth?

Definitely. The surface of the tongue is rough, and food debris and bacteria can build up there. To help reduce bad breath, you can clean your tongue gently, with a light sweeping motion, without pressing too hard.

Can using a miswak replace a toothbrush?

Used correctly, the miswak is a beneficial, natural oral care tool. However, it can be difficult to fully remove the residue of the sticky, sugary foods common today using only a miswak. You can do your essential oral care with a toothbrush and floss, and use the miswak as a supplement.

Does eating sugar really cause tooth decay?

Sugar doesn't directly drill a hole in the tooth. Bacteria in the mouth use sugar to produce acid, and over time this acid dissolves the tooth enamel - in other words, causes decay. After eating something sweet, it helps to drink water, rinse your mouth, and brush your teeth at an appropriate time.

Cavities & Filling Treatments

I have a small black cavity in my tooth but it doesn't hurt. Will it go away on its own?

Unfortunately, unlike some wounds on the body, tooth decay doesn't heal on its own. If left untreated, it can deepen over time and cause more severe pain. The best approach is to repair the cavity with a simple filling while it's still small.

Will it hurt when I get a filling?

Before the procedure, the tooth in question and the surrounding tissue are numbed with local anesthesia, so that you shouldn't feel pain during the filling treatment. You may only feel light touch or pressure during the procedure.

Will my fillings last in my mouth for a lifetime?

The mouth is a fairly demanding environment because of chewing forces and temperature changes, so no filling can be guaranteed to last a lifetime. However, if you take care of your oral hygiene and attend regular checkups, you can use your fillings trouble-free for many years.

Are my old black fillings harmful? Do they need to be replaced?

If black or silver-colored fillings, known as amalgam, don't have cracks, leakage, or new decay at the edges, they don't need to be replaced just because of their color. However, if their appearance bothers you, they can be replaced with white composite fillings after your dentist's assessment.

My tooth twinges when I eat something sweet, but the pain goes away quickly. Could I have a cavity?

Brief sensitivity triggered by sweets can be a sign of early-stage decay. The fact that the pain passes quickly may indicate the problem hasn't progressed far yet. If examined early, the tooth can often be treated with a filling, without needing root canal treatment.

My teeth ache a lot when I eat ice cream. What's the reason for this?

Enamel wear, gum recession, or exposed root surfaces can cause sensitivity. After an examination at our clinic, the cause of the sensitivity can be identified, and your symptoms can be reduced with protective varnishes, polishes, or appropriate treatment methods.

Is a cosmetic composite filling noticeable from the outside?

Cosmetic fillings made with composite materials matched to your tooth color give a look that blends in with the natural tooth structure. With the right color choice and shaping, it's quite difficult to notice the filling.

Root Canal Treatment – Endodontics

Is root canal treatment a very painful procedure?

Root canal treatment is usually performed to relieve the patient of existing tooth pain. Before treatment, the tooth is numbed with local anesthesia, so you shouldn't feel pain during the procedure - you may only feel light touch and pressure.

How long does root canal treatment take?

Treatment time can vary depending on the number of roots and canals in the tooth, the state of the infection, and the tooth's anatomical structure. Root canal treatment can often be completed in a single session of about 45-60 minutes. In cases of advanced infection, treatment may be spread over two or more sessions.

Instead of getting root canal treatment, can I just have my tooth extracted?

Wherever possible, our priority is keeping a person's own natural tooth in the mouth. When a tooth is extracted, the resulting gap needs to be completed with methods like an implant, bridge, or denture. For this reason, saving a tooth that can be saved with root canal treatment is generally the more advantageous option.

My root-canal-treated tooth darkened years later. What's the reason for this?

Because root-canal-treated teeth lose their vitality, they can become dull or change color over time. In suitable cases, it may be possible to lighten the color again through special internal bleaching applied from inside the tooth.

Can a root-canal-treated tooth decay again?

Yes, a root-canal-treated tooth can decay again. Because the tooth's nerve has been removed, new decay won't always cause pain. That's why it's very important to keep brushing root-canal-treated teeth regularly and not skip your dental checkups.

Will my tooth hurt after root canal treatment?

Mild pain or sensitivity, especially while chewing, in the first few days after treatment can be considered normal. This period can usually be managed comfortably with the painkillers your dentist recommends. If pain is severe or keeps increasing, you should contact our clinic.

Tooth Extraction & Wisdom Teeth – Surgery

Will it hurt when my tooth is extracted?

Before the extraction, the area in question is completely numbed with local anesthesia, so that you shouldn't feel pain during the procedure. You may only feel slight pressure or movement.

Do all wisdom teeth need to be extracted?

No. If your wisdom tooth has enough space in the jaw, has erupted properly, isn't damaging the surrounding tissue, and can be kept clean, it may not need to be extracted. However, if it erupts crookedly, damages a neighboring tooth, or causes decay or infection, extraction may be recommended.

My wisdom tooth erupted halfway and I've developed bad breath. Why?

Gum tissue can remain covering a partially erupted wisdom tooth. Food debris and bacteria can build up underneath this tissue, causing inflammation, a bad taste, and bad breath. After an examination, cleaning the area, medication, or, if necessary, extraction can be planned.

Can I smoke after having a tooth extracted?

It's recommended not to smoke for the first 24-48 hours. Smoking can disrupt the blood clot that forms in the extraction site and lead to a condition known as "dry socket," which can cause severe pain.

I'm taking blood thinners. Can I still have a tooth extracted?

Taking blood thinners is not an absolute barrier to tooth extraction, but the type and dose of medication and your general health need to be assessed. You should not stop your medication on your own decision. When necessary, we consult with the physician monitoring your treatment to create a safe treatment plan.

How should I clean the extraction site after a tooth is pulled?

For the first 24 hours, you shouldn't touch the extraction site with a toothbrush, rinse forcefully, or spit. From the next day, you can brush your other teeth normally, and clean the extraction area carefully, following your dentist's recommendations.

Implant & Prosthetic Treatments

How long does implant treatment take?

Placing the implant into the jawbone takes about 15-30 minutes in most cases. However, the implant generally needs a healing period of two to three months to fuse with the bone. After this period, the permanent tooth is made on top of the implant.

Is it possible for the body to reject the implant?

Dental implants are usually made of tissue-friendly titanium. Implant failure doesn't happen in the classic sense of organ rejection. Causes of failure can include insufficient bone structure, infection, uncontrolled systemic diseases, inadequate oral hygiene, and heavy smoking.

I have diabetes. Can I still get an implant?

If your diabetes is controlled with medication and your blood sugar levels are within an appropriate range, implant treatment can be performed. Before treatment, your HbA1c level and general health are assessed to create a personalized plan.

I have osteoporosis. Can I get an implant?

Osteoporosis alone is not an absolute barrier to implant treatment. The height and width of your jawbone are assessed using three-dimensional imaging methods. When bone volume is insufficient, a suitable site for the implant can be created using bone grafts, or materials popularly known as "bone powder."

As I get older, will I definitely have to use a removable denture?

No. If the condition of your jawbone and your general health allow, you can benefit from implant-supported fixed or removable denture options even if you have no teeth left at all.

I have a missing tooth. Should I get an implant or a bridge?

Which treatment is suitable depends on your bone condition, the health of neighboring teeth, the number of missing teeth, and your general health. Implant treatment doesn't require reducing healthy neighboring teeth, whereas a bridge requires support from the teeth on either side of the gap.

What's the difference between metal-supported porcelain crowns and zirconia crowns?

Metal-supported porcelain crowns have a metal substructure inside. In some cases, this metal substructure can cause a grayish reflection, especially near the gumline. Zirconia crowns, thanks to their white-colored substructure and light translucency, can provide a more natural and aesthetic appearance.

Do crowns fall off while eating?

Crowns are fixed to the teeth with special, strong adhesives. As long as no decay or fracture develops in the tooth underneath and you don't eat excessively hard or sticky foods, they aren't expected to fall off during normal eating.

My front tooth broke. Will I be left without a tooth until the permanent one is made?

No. When treatment is done on your front tooth, a temporary tooth can be prepared on the same day in most possible cases. This way, you can comfortably continue your daily life and your smile until your permanent tooth is made.

Do porcelain teeth cause bad breath?

Porcelain or zirconia crowns that fit well with the gum and are prepared correctly don't cause bad breath on their own. However, if the area around the crown isn't cleaned well enough, food debris and bacteria can build up and cause bad odor.

Pediatric Dentistry

When should I first bring my child to the dentist?

It's recommended for your child to meet a dentist when their first baby tooth comes in, or by their first birthday at the latest. Our goal is to take preventive measures before any pain or decay develops.

Baby teeth will fall out eventually anyway. Do they need fillings when they decay?

Yes, treating baby teeth is quite important. Baby teeth contribute to a child's nutrition, speech, and jaw development. They also hold space for the permanent teeth coming in underneath. Losing baby teeth early can cause the permanent teeth to erupt crowded or in the wrong position.

My child fell and their permanent front tooth was completely knocked out. What should I do?

Without panicking, hold the tooth by its white crown and don't touch the root part. If the tooth is dirty, rinse it briefly under clean water without scrubbing the root surface. If possible, place the tooth in a glass of cold milk and come to our clinic without delay. Early intervention increases the chance of saving the tooth.

Is fluoride application harmful for children?

Fluoride applications performed under a dentist's supervision and at appropriate doses are safe. Fluoride strengthens tooth enamel and helps increase resistance against the formation of decay.

What is a fissure sealant, sometimes called a "tooth vaccine"?

A fissure sealant is a procedure that covers the deep grooves and pits on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth with a thin material. This helps prevent food debris and bacteria from settling into the grooves. It's a preventive treatment that involves no needles and no pain.

My child sucks their thumb or a pacifier. Will it damage their teeth?

If the thumb- or pacifier-sucking habit is dropped by age three or four, the mild changes that occur can often correct themselves. If the habit continues for longer, problems such as protruding upper front teeth, an open bite, and a narrowed palate can develop.

What is "baby bottle decay" in infants?

A baby sleeping through the night with a bottle containing milk sweetened with sugar, honey, or grape molasses, or similar sugary drinks, can cause rapidly progressing decay, especially in the front teeth. This condition is called early childhood caries or baby bottle decay.

Can a baby tooth receive root canal treatment?

Yes. In suitable cases, root canal treatment can be applied to baby teeth. The goal is to keep the baby tooth in the mouth until it's time for the permanent tooth underneath to erupt, and to prevent loss of space.

My child doesn't want to brush their teeth. What should I do?

You can turn toothbrushing into a fun game. You can choose toothbrushes with patterns your child likes, brush together in front of a mirror, and make up fun stories like "we're cleaning away the tooth bugs."

Orthodontics – Braces & Clear Aligners

I'm older now. Is orthodontic treatment suitable for me?

Yes. As long as the bone and gum tissue surrounding the teeth are healthy, orthodontic treatment can also be applied to adults. There is no strict upper age limit for teeth-straightening treatments.

Which is better, braces or clear aligners?

Both treatment methods have their own advantages. Clear aligners are less noticeable from the outside and can be removed while eating. Fixed braces, since they can't be removed by the patient, keep working throughout the day. The most suitable method is determined after examination and X-ray assessment.

Does it hurt when braces are put on?

When brackets are bonded to the tooth surface, no needle or anesthesia is needed, and no pain is felt during the procedure. In the first few days after the wires are fitted, mild pressure and aching can occur as the teeth begin to move.

Which foods should I avoid while wearing braces?

You should avoid acidic drinks, sticky sweets, chewing gum, very hard nuts, and hard foods that could break the brackets. It's safer to cut foods like apples, carrots, and hard bread into small pieces rather than biting into them directly.

On average, how long does orthodontic treatment take?

Treatment time can vary depending on the degree of crowding, jaw structure, and the method used. Orthodontic treatments generally take between six months and two and a half years. A more precise duration can be determined after examination and X-ray assessment.

There are big gaps between my teeth. Can they be closed without braces?

In suitable cases, small gaps between teeth can be closed in a single session using composite bonding or composite laminate veneers. However, the cause and size of the gap should be assessed to determine the most suitable treatment option.

After my braces come off, will my teeth shift back out of place?

After orthodontic treatment, retention treatment is applied to prevent the teeth from returning to their old positions. For this purpose, a fixed retainer wire can be bonded to the back surface of the teeth, or removable clear retainers can be used. It's very important to wear the retention appliances for as long as your dentist recommends.

If I use clear aligners, will it affect my speech?

When clear aligners are worn for the first time, a brief mild lisp can occur while the tongue gets used to the aligner. Most patients adapt to the aligner within a few hours or a few days and return to speaking normally.

Cosmetic Dentistry & Whitening

Does teeth whitening damage tooth enamel?

Professional whitening procedures performed under a dentist's supervision with appropriate products are safe. The procedure aims to lighten discoloration inside the tooth without eroding tooth structure. Some patients may experience temporary sensitivity.

Will whitening toothpastes make my teeth pure white?

Whitening toothpastes mostly remove surface stains caused by things like tea, coffee, and smoking. However, they cannot lighten the tooth's natural base color as much as professional whitening can. Prolonged, uncontrolled use of highly abrasive products can damage the tooth surface.

What is smile design?

Smile design is planning the tooth shape and smile that suits you best, taking into account your face shape, lip structure, gum appearance, skin tone, and personal expectations. The treatment plan may draw on methods such as zirconia, laminate veneers, bonding, gum contouring, or whitening.

What are porcelain veneers (laminates)?

Porcelain laminate veneers are thin ceramic restorations bonded especially to the front surfaces of teeth. In most cases, only a very small amount of the tooth surface is reduced. They are one of the treatment options that provides a natural, aesthetic look while preserving most of the tooth structure.

My teeth are very yellow. Should I get zirconia crowns or whitening?

If your teeth are healthy and color is your only concern, tissue-preserving methods like whitening are considered first. If there are significant problems with tooth shape, alignment, or structure, restorative options like zirconia or veneers may be considered.

What is "pink aesthetics"?

Pink aesthetics is arranging the appearance of the gums together with the teeth within the smile. If your gums show too much when you smile, or the gum levels are uneven, the gum shape can be reshaped using laser or other periodontal procedures.

Can I get a new smile in a single session?

In suitable cases, small gaps between teeth, minor chips, and shape irregularities can be corrected in a single session using the composite bonding method. The procedure can often be completed without reducing tooth structure, or with very minimal intervention.

Do zirconia teeth yellow over time?

Zirconia and porcelain surfaces are very smooth and polished, so they're more resistant to staining compared to natural teeth. That said, surface stains from tea, coffee, or smoking can still develop over time and can be removed with professional cleaning.

If I brush my teeth with baking soda at home, will they get whiter?

Uncontrolled, frequent use of baking soda isn't recommended. Its coarse, abrasive particles can cause scratches and wear on tooth enamel. Even if the teeth look whiter at first, the scratched surfaces can pick up stains more easily over time, and sensitivity can develop.

Gum Disease & Bad Breath – Periodontology

My gums bleed when I brush my teeth. What should I do?

Healthy gums don't normally bleed. Bleeding during brushing can be one of the signs of gum inflammation. You shouldn't stop brushing just because it bleeds - keep gently cleaning your teeth and come to our clinic for a gum examination.

Does professional tartar cleaning (scaling) scratch tooth enamel?

Professional tartar cleaning done with the correct technique and appropriate instruments doesn't scratch tooth enamel. During the procedure, hardened tartar and plaque buildup stuck to the tooth surface are removed. Tartar that isn't cleaned can, over time, cause gum disease and loss of the supporting bone.

I get my tartar cleaned, but it comes back again after a few months. Why?

Tartar reforming can depend on the composition of your saliva, the alignment of your teeth, smoking, and your brushing technique. When soft plaque on the tooth surface isn't cleaned well enough, it can harden with minerals in the saliva and turn back into tartar.

My gums bleed when I bite into something hard. Is this dangerous?

Gum bleeding during biting or brushing can be a sign of gum inflammation. In its early stages, it can be brought under control with professional cleaning and correct oral care. If neglected, the disease can progress and damage the bone that supports the teeth.

What causes bad breath?

Bad breath can be caused by decay, food debris trapped between teeth, bacteria on the tongue, ill-fitting fillings or crowns, and gum disease. Through a detailed examination, the source of the odor can be identified and appropriate treatment planned.

How can I tell whether my bad breath comes from my stomach or my teeth?

The large majority of bad breath originates in the mouth and teeth. If the odor continues despite tartar cleaning, treating cavities, tongue cleaning, and regular oral care, a referral can be made to an ENT, internal medicine, or gastroenterology specialist.

Does smoking damage the gums?

Yes. Smoking negatively affects blood circulation in the gums and weakens the immune response. It can also suppress early signs like bleeding, allowing gum disease to progress unnoticed. In advanced stages, bone loss and loose teeth can occur.

My gums are receding and my tooth roots are showing. What can be done?

Gum recession can be caused by hard brushing, tartar, gum disease, tooth position, or naturally thin gum tissue. In advanced cases, a small connective tissue graft taken from the palate can cover the exposed root surface or stop the recession from progressing further.

Pregnancy, Systemic Diseases & Jaw Joint

Can I get dental treatment while pregnant?

Yes. Necessary dental treatments can be carried out during pregnancy. For planned treatments, the second trimester - roughly between the third and sixth months - is considered especially suitable. Emergencies can be treated at any stage of pregnancy, with the necessary precautions taken.

Does the numbing injection used in pregnancy harm the baby?

The local anesthetics used in dental treatments can be applied safely, taking into account the patient's health condition and stage of pregnancy. The appropriate anesthetic agent and dose are determined by your dentist. When necessary, we can consult with the obstetrician following your pregnancy.

Can I have a dental X-ray taken while pregnant?

Unnecessary X-rays are avoided during pregnancy unless truly required. However, in urgent and necessary cases, a low-dose dental X-ray can be taken with digital equipment, with protective measures in place. You should always tell your dentist before any procedure if you are pregnant or suspect you might be.

Is the saying "every baby takes a tooth from the mother" true?

No, this isn't true. The baby doesn't draw calcium directly from the mother's teeth. However, the hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy, nausea, vomiting, changes in eating habits, and neglecting oral care can lead to an increase in decay and gum problems.

When I wake up in the morning, my jaw hurts a lot. What's the reason for this?

Clenching or grinding your teeth at night, known as bruxism, can cause pain in the jaw muscles in the morning. Over time, this condition can lead to tooth wear, fractures, sensitivity, and discomfort in the jaw joint.

How can we stop teeth grinding?

A clear night guard made specially for you can reduce teeth damaging each other and wearing down. In suitable patients, botulinum toxin injections into the chewing muscles can also help reduce muscle activity. Treatment should be planned individually, based on the cause of the problem.

I hear a "click" from in front of my ear when I open my jaw. Is this dangerous?

Sounds coming from the jaw joint can be related to movement of the joint disc or changes in the joint structures. Not every sound means a serious condition. However, if you have symptoms such as pain, restricted mouth opening, or jaw locking, you should be examined.

I'm breastfeeding and my tooth hurts. Does the anesthetic used pass into breast milk?

The amount of local anesthetic used in dental treatments that passes into breast milk is generally very low. When the appropriate medication and dose are used, many dental treatments can be safely performed during breastfeeding. It's important to tell your dentist about any medications you're taking and your baby's health condition.

Other Frequently Asked Questions

Does a panoramic X-ray emit a lot of radiation?

The radiation dose used in modern digital panoramic X-ray devices is quite low. Even so, an X-ray should only be taken when deemed necessary and with the appropriate protective measures in place.

One of my teeth broke but it doesn't hurt. Can I just leave it as it is?

A broken tooth surface may not be cleaned well enough and can develop decay over time. Sharp edges can also injure your tongue or cheek. Small chips can often be repaired with a simple filling or bonding procedure.

Do dental cysts always cause pain?

No. Cysts that form around tooth roots, and some infections, can grow for a long time without showing any symptoms. Regular dental checkups and X-rays taken when needed help detect these kinds of problems at an early stage.

Can eating very hot and very cold foods one after another crack teeth?

Sudden temperature changes can contribute to sensitivity and to the progression of existing cracks, especially in teeth that already have a large filling or a crack. For this reason, it's healthier to avoid having ice-cold food right after something very hot.

I wanted zirconia, but my dentist recommended metal-supported porcelain instead. Why?

The area to be restored, the number of missing teeth, the length of the bridge, chewing forces, and bite relationship are all important in choosing the material. For some long bridges or areas under high force, different substructure options may be more suitable. Your dentist will recommend the most durable and appropriate material based on your mouth's structure.

Will I definitely lose my teeth as I get older?

No. Natural teeth that receive regular oral care and have gum disease and decay treated in time can stay in the mouth for a lifetime. Aging alone is not a cause of tooth loss.

Do toothpastes made for sensitive teeth actually work?

Yes. Ingredients found in desensitizing toothpastes, such as potassium nitrate, fluoride, or similar substances, can help reduce tooth sensitivity. However, since sensitivity can also be caused by an underlying issue like decay, a crack, or gum recession, you should get examined if the symptoms persist for a long time.

Is putting a clove on a decayed tooth a good remedy for the pain?

Cloves or clove oil can provide temporary relief. However, holding it directly on the gum for a long time can cause burns and irritation to the tissue. Putting cologne, alcohol, or aspirin directly on the tooth is strongly discouraged. A dental examination is needed for a lasting solution to tooth pain.

Is it a good idea to brush your teeth right after eating?

Especially after acidic foods or drinks like cola, orange juice, or lemon, tooth enamel can soften temporarily. For this reason, it may be better to rinse your mouth with water and wait about 30 minutes before brushing your teeth.

Why do mouth ulcers (canker sores) appear and how do they heal?

Canker sores can be caused by stress, injuries inside the mouth, biting the cheek, hard brushing, certain vitamin and mineral deficiencies, or conditions related to the immune system. Most canker sores heal on their own within 7-14 days. Salt water rinses and oral gels your dentist recommends can help reduce symptoms. An examination is needed for sores that recur frequently or don't heal for a long time.

Can I have dental treatment while I have a cold sore on my lip?

If the cold sore is active, weeping, and contagious, it may be preferable to postpone non-urgent dental treatment until the lesion scabs over and heals. When urgent treatment is needed, the procedure can be carried out with the necessary protective precautions in place.

My tooth was extracted. When should I get an implant or bridge in its place?

The timing of treatment depends on the location of the extracted tooth, the amount of bone, the state of any infection, and the method to be used. In some suitable cases, an implant can be placed in the same session as the extraction, while in others it may be necessary to wait a few months for the bone and gum to heal. Leaving the gap empty for a long time can lead to bone loss over time and cause neighboring teeth to shift.

Does private health insurance or complementary health insurance cover dental treatments?

Whether dental treatments are covered depends on the scope of your insurance policy. Some policies offer limited coverage for examinations, tartar cleaning, or certain treatments. Before starting any procedure, you can check your policy and get the clearest information from your insurance company and our clinic's front desk.
